Charles M. Bischoff, died on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at the age of 90 in Plantation, FL.
Born in NYC to Grace and Charles Bischoff. He was raised in Union, NJ. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School, Elizabeth and Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ. He served in US Navy as WWII ended. He married Marilyn A. Guilmette who predeceased him in 2011. They were happily married for almost 60 years.
A licensed CPA, he spent almost his entire professional career in corporate accounting with Houdaille Industries (later Idex) as Corporate Controller. Over the years Charles and Marilyn resided in NJ, Orchard Park, NY and Coral Springs, FL. At the time of his death he lived at Covenant Village, Plantation, FL. He was a member of St. Gregory the Great RC Church, Plantation.
He is survived by daughters Cheryl and her husband John Vetovick of Spring Lake, NJ and Susan and her husband Rudolf Scheffrahn of Plantation, FL. He is also survived by his granddaughters: Cyndi Vetovick Firth and Mary and Lisa Scheffrahn and his great grandchildren Gigi and Duncan Firth.
Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or a charity of your choice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Gregory The Great Church, Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 10:30am.
