Charlotte Ann (Cioci) Pinkien, 84, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at University Hospital and Hospice Center in Tamarac, FL. She was born July 10, 1933 in Elizabeth, NJ. She was predeceased by her parents Julius and Emily Myska. Charlotte was a devout Catholic, a long-time parishioner of St. Gregory’s Catholic Church in Plantation, FL. She was a devoted mother taking care of her children before entering back into the workforce. In addition to helping with the family business, an accountant for Lee’s Country Store in Boynton Beach, FL, she worked for Luria’s for 15 years as a Jewelry Manager at the store’s Davie location. She was a fantastic cook making everything from scratch. In her final years her enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by her husband Leon W. Pinkien, her brother Edward Myska, and many other friends and relatives. She is survived by her four children – Gregory J. Pinkien (Plantation, FL), Glenn R. Pinkien (Irene) Davie, FL, Gary W. Pinkien (Suzanne) Jacksonville, FL, and Cheryl A. Saraceno (Boca Raton, FL). Five grandchildren – Maggie and Marissa Pinkien, Daniel and Andrew Saraceno, and Leah Joy Pinkien. Visitation will be held Friday evening February 23, 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, at TM Ralph Plantation Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be, Saturday, February 24, 12:30 PM, at St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church, 200 N. University Dr., Plantation, FL. Interment immediately following at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1500 Florida 7, North Lauderdale, Florida 33068.
