Christine Ann Santigate

Christine was 89 and was currently residing in Plantation, Florida at Covenant Living of Florida. Christine was born on January 28, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York where she met and married “her Bruno”. They had three beautiful daughters together. Angela Santigate, Susan (Dominic) Bastello, and Linda (John) Voigt. Christine will also be lovingly remembered by her four grandchildren, Brett, Brooke, Ryan and Justin. Christine was predeceased by her daughter Angela and her husband Bruno. Through her 89 years of life, Christine touched the lives of many people with her kindness and love of life. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Christine will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. Christine worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Doctoral Program at Nova Southeast University until her retirement over 20 years ago. Anyone who knew Christine knows how she loved to shop, cook, and have many gatherings entertaining her family and friends at her home. She also loved to cruise with her family and spend time enjoying life with “her Bruno”, the love of her life. She was a caring and compassionate individual with a wonderful sense of humor and a smile that lit up a room. Christine was a beloved wife and a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed forever. We all loved Christine and we know how much she loved all of us. She is now resting peacefully with Angela, her Bruno, and her sisters and brothers, and many of her lifelong friends. Rest easy, Mom, and know that you will be forever in our hearts. The family invites everyone to join them for a Memorial Mass in memory of Christine to be held Thursday, September 17, 2020, 10:30 AM, at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 200 N. University Drive, Plantation, FL 33324. A private entombment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Christine may be made to the American Heart Association.
