Christine Wright was the sole child of Katie Wong. She was born in Kingston, Jamaica, WI, and came to the USA with her mom when she was 7 years old. Christine leaves behind her husband Bob, many many friends, first cousins Trevor, Winston, Frank, Junior, Maureen, Judy, Zonette, Anna, Dorothy, Tommy, Aileen, Patricia, Angela, Stanley, Lilleith, Horace & Ms. Wright. She graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in Downtown Brooklyn in 1975. She attended New York University, graduating with a Bachelors and Master degrees. For most of her life Christine lived in her beloved borough of Brooklyn. She founded & ran an after-school program for under privileged children for 10 years. Christine worked as a public high school teacher then later switched to teaching elementary school children as a substitute teacher. In 2007 she married her husband Bob. They had a double honeymoon; Part 1 – Club Med in Turks & Caicos; Part 2 – Tahiti, Moorea and Sydney, Australia. In 2008, they completed the last world cruise on the QE2. Christine and Bob worked together as a pair of wellness coaches. Their ‘Stress Free Now’ podcast series is now listed as one of the top 50 stress podcasts world-wide. Christine was beloved by many and will be sorely missed.
