Our loving father, brother, Pops (grandpa), fiancé and friend passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, May 12, 2017, after fighting a two-and-a-half-year battle with colon cancer. Cooper had an incredible zest for life; he loved boating, following the Dallas Cowboys and hanging out with friends or chatting with perfect strangers. He was passionate about his children and grandchild; they were the light of his life. His family and friends have many fun memories to hold onto. Cooper is survived by his children, Austin James Howell, and Zoe Jane Howell (daughter Camille Marie) mother Rose Howell, brother Mike Ware, sisters Jerri Webb and Jackie Rollins, fiancé Laura Newton and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father James Lee Howell Cooper was born in Nebraska City, Nebraska on February 28, 1960 but grew up in Richardson, Texas. He moved to Fort Lauderdale in the late 80’s to pursue his career in construction as a crane operator. Cooper’s childhood was full of memory that he cherished. He loved to reminisce about his adventures roaming the streets (and creeks) of Canyon Creek. His honest demeanor instantly made him a parent’s favorite kid to all of his buddies. A celebration in Texas is tentatively set for June 17. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to MD Anderson the University Of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, P.O.
