Cosmond Vaughan, a devoted husband, father, and respected banking manager, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2025, in Plantation, Florida. Born on May 3, 1943, in Jamaica, he lived a life full of dedication and passion, leaving behind fond memories for all who knew him.
Cosmond's professional journey as a banking manager was marked by his commitment to excellence and a deep understanding of the financial sector. Colleagues and clients alike appreciated his integrity and diligence, which made him a trusted in the banking community.
An avid golfer, Cosmond found joy on the golf course, where he enjoyed both the challenge of the game and the camaraderie it brought him with friends and fellow enthusiasts. His love for the sport was just one of the many ways he connected with those around him, sharing laughter and memorable experiences along the way.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Joy, who was by his side through many of life's joys and challenges. He is also survived by his son, Anthony Vaughan, and daughter, Claudia, along with her husband Mark Briscoe. Cosmond’s family will remember him for his unwavering support, kindness, and the wisdom he imparted to them.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life during the following services at St. Benedicts Episcopal Church, located at 7801 NW 5th St, Plantation, FL 33324, on February 7, 2025, 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1500 S State Rd 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068, where a service will take place from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM.
Cosmond Vaughan's legacy of love, dedication, and integrity will continue to resonate within the hearts of his family and the broader community. He will be dearly missed, but his spirit will always be celebrated.
