Federico Rodriguez Sr., passed away February 21, 2021, and his wife, Cruz Maria Rodriguez, passed away February 23, 2021.

Federico and Cruz were born in Puerto Rico; Federico on July 21, 1929, in Ciales, Puerto Rico, and Cruz was born on May 4, 1938 in Jayua, Puerto Rico. They came to New York together, married in 1956, and raised their family in Richmond Hill, Queens, and Bellport, New York; later they moved and settled in Sunrise, Florida.  Federico was a supervisor for a bicycle manufacturing company; Cruz as a very talented hairdresser. 

Cruz was a member of St. Bonaventure Church Choir, and they both gave back to their local community doing various volunteer work over the years.

Federico and Cruz were devout Catholics, and touched the lives of everyone who crossed their paths; to know them, was to know love.

They are survived by their two sons, Federico Rodriguez, Jr., and Jorge (Lynn) Rodriguez; four grandchildren, Daniel (Annie), Erik (Brenda), Natalia (Robert), and Alexander; seven great-grandchildren, Harmony, Samiha, Teagan, Nevaeh, Noelani, Nora, and Enzo, and Luisa I. Del Toro, who they embraced and loved as their own daughter. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, March 4th, 10:30 AM, St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
