David John Fearnley

David John Fearnley passed away with his family at his side July 28, 2017.  Born in Bridgeport, CT on November 15, 1951. He was a longtime resident of the South Florida area. His most important role in life, that he loved and embraced fully was that of a husband and father.  He proudly served with Lauderhill Fire Department retiring after 30 years of service, he then continued to service with Plantation Fire Department.  He devoted his time to his family, and along with his wife Linda served as foster parents to numerous children for over 3 decades.  He will forever be remembered in the hearts of all those who loved him.  He is survived by his wife Linda, daughters Lynn Ann (Jacmel) Fearnley, Jo Ann (Brian) Shapins, Tracy Cook and Rodrick Barther, 6 grandchildren, brother Robert(Rosemary) Deming, sister Sharon( Tommy) Pruett and many nieces and nephews    Friends will be received at the T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home 7001 NW 4 Street on Sunday from 1:00pm until the service time.
