Diane M Colini, a cherished matriarch and beloved friend, peacefully left this world on January 3, 2025, at her home in Vero Beach, Florida, surrounded by the warmth of her loving memories. Born on December 6, 1933, Diane lived a life filled with devotion, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to her family and friends.
A retired employee of Southern Bell (AT&T), Diane was not only a woman of resilience in her professional life but also a beacon of love and support in her personal realm. Her career was marked by dedication, yet it was her role as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother that defined her true essence. Diane fiercely loved her family, nurturing their lives with her care, attention and remarkable sense of humor.
A great hostess over the years as she delighted in entertaining family and friends in her home, creating a sanctuary of love and laughter. Diane had a unique ability to make everyone feel welcomed and cherished, making her gatherings a treasure trove of fond memories for all who attended. Her capacity to bring people together is a legacy that will live on in the hearts of those she adored.
Diane's interests and hobbies included reading, going to the movies, and crafts. She found solace in the pages of a good book and adventure in the flickering lights of the movie screen. Over the years, Diane dedicated herself to the community, volunteering at the Elks Lodge, where her generous spirit made a difference in the lives of many.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, survived by her four children: Robert (Marybeth) Colini, Keith (Mary) Colini, Kathy (Chuck) Shippee, and Robin Rene (Jay) Vitarelli. Her family continues to grow with ten grandchildren: Charles Jr.(Gus), Robert Jr., Brittney, Megan, Melissa, Corbin, Brooke, Matthew, Kelli, and Mark alongside 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who will carry forward her nurturing spirit.
Diane was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Robert B. Colini, and her three brothers, Duane, Dale, and Doug Messinger. Their absence is felt deeply, yet their memories are woven into the very fabric of Diane's life story.
