Donald P. Albrecht

Donald P. Albrecht, 66, of Weston, Florida, died on Saturday, August 31. Beloved brother of Joanne Kuk (Jack, deceased), Tom Albrecht (Ellen) and Bob Albrecht (Barbara). Proud uncle of Alexa Kuk, Erin Albrecht McNaughton (Paul), Kristin Albrecht Wahls (Aaron), Anne Albrecht Lucas (Will), R.J. Albrecht, Amy Albrecht Stratton (Brennan) and Scott Albrecht (Mengjie); preceded in death by his father Merville W. Albrecht and his mother Doris L. Albrecht. Don was born in Coral Gables, Florida and graduated from Miami Palmetto Senior High School in 1976. He moved to Weston, Florida in 1994. Don was the owner/operator of a car detailing business for nearly 40 years serving customers in Dade and Broward Counties. He was an avid sports fan with a particular passion for the Miami Dolphins (Don’s late uncle – Dolfan Denny - was an on-field personality for the team). Don’s friends and family remember him as an outstanding conversationalist who would brighten up their day with his broad smile and upbeat personality. A funeral Mass will be held  at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, 1301 SW 136th Avenue, Davie, Florida. Interment will be private.
