Donald E. Wright

Donald Wright passed away August 6, 2017.  After a distinguished career of service in the US Air Force and as the Chief Bailiff for Miami-Dade County, Donald started a second career founding Don’s Sand.  Always a fun-loving guy who never met a stranger, Don loved horse racing and NASCAR.  However, his most cherished role was that of husband to his lovely wife Martha of 48 years, and loving father to: Donna, Donnie and Debbie.  More recently, he was the proud Pop Pop to: Kayla, Ella, Preston, Gracie, and Maya. Friends will be received at T.M. Ralph Sunrise Funeral Home, 371 NW 136th Avenue, Sunrise, FL 33325, on Saturday August 19th, from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM, with a remembrance service to be followed at 1:00 PM.
