Elena was born Dec 14, 1946 in New York, NY., and grew up in Hempstead, Long Island, NY. She attended Uniondale High School and later obtained an online Associates Degree that garnished her professional growth in the airline industry. A few years before her passing this became increasingly important and she made a trip there to learn more about her family heritage.
In 1992, Elena adopted her daughter Jenne-Elise Galluzzi and spent the last 30 years of her life taking the utmost pride and joy in being her mother.
She is survived by her only daughter, Jenne-Elise Galluzzi of Deerfield Beach, FL.
