Elizabeth "Betty" Jean Kaczor

Kaczor, Elizabeth Jean "Betty" passed away December 15, 2024, 96 years of Plantation, FL. Born in Manitoba, Canada to mother Edith and father Charlie. Was married to Peter Sr. who preceded her in death in 2000. Beloved mother to sons Peter Jr. and John, and loving grandmother to Sara and Nicholas. She survived many aunts, uncles and cousins too numerous to name. After graduating from Nursing School she moved to Fort Lauderdale and began working at Broward General Hospital. After her sons were old enough to be in school she resumed her career at Doctors Hospital in Plantation. When Plantation General began admitting patients she was one of the original employees. While at Plantation General Hospital she expanded on her career and became a Respiratory Therapist. Her love of learning brought her back into the classroom and she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from Barry University. She always cheered for the Dolphins, Marlins, Panthers, Strikers, Heat and learned to play golf along the way having a hole in one. After retiring her passions were being there for her grandchildren, spending time with family and friends and volunteering time to Saint Benedict's Episcopal Church in Plantation. She was always ready with a "how are you doing today" for friends and family. 

 A Celebration of Life service will be held at Saint Benedict's Episcopal Church in Plantation on January 18 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Junior Chapter of The Daughter's Of The King and the Building Fund at Saint Benedict's Episcopal Church in Plantation,
