Elizabeth Donovan

Elizabeth V. Donovan was the only child of the late Dr. Thomas J. and Helen S. Donovan. These magnificent people made her life a heavenly experience on Earth. God must have loved her in a special way to have given her the honor of being their child. Elizabeth spent nearly four decades teaching in the Miami-Dade County Public School System. The goal of her life was to be a fine educator. It was her aim to help each child fulfill his or her total cognitive potential in an atmosphere that would promote sound ethical values. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth wanted to express gratitude to the following people who assisted her in being successful on her earthly journey:  Very Rev. Noel Fogarty, Rev. Pedro M. Valdes, Mrs. Elizabeth Brodsky, Ms. Lisette Izquierdo, Mrs. Irving Linden, The del Pozo Family, Mrs. Edythe Sobol, Mrs. Francette Ahmed, Mr. David Knierim, Ms. Pam Gonzalez, Mr. Michael Menilik esq., Dr. Charlie Williams Jr., Mrs. Barbara Hiles, Mr. Otto J. McQueen, and Mrs. Lesly Klarie. Services will be held on Monday, April 22, 2019 St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Plantation, Florida. Visitation will be from 9am to 11am. Mass of the Resurrection will be from 11am to 12pm. The entombment will be held at the Chapel of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery in Miami from 1pm to 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Thomas J. Donovan Family Scholarship at St. Gregory Catholic School in Plantation, Florida. Arrangements by T.M.
