Garry Gilles, a Business Entrepreneur and a longtime resident of Fort Lauderdale, FL, passed away untimely on July 15, 2021, at the age of 60. Garry is survived by his wife, Bernadette Gamory Gilles; mother, Edith M Desmarais; sisters Marjory Gilles, Marie Ketly Hilaire, and Pauline Comau; children, Bryan Gilles, Richard Napoleon, and Captolia Galley; nieces, nephews, respected families, and many dear friends. Garry was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on June 1, 1961. He moved to Brooklyn, New York, in the 70’s where he transitioned from childhood to adulthood. As a man, Garry was loved by many; he was a husband, father, uncle, son, friend, and a mentor to many. His good will and generosity were unparalleled, as he always put the needs of others before himself. Garry was a cancer survivor, a fighter who beat any challenge and obstacle that came his way. With his strength, we can find solace that he is in a peaceful place spending time with his father, Julien Gilles. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 19th at T.M.
