A Celebration of Life for Geraldine Farley will be celebrated at 1:00pm on Saturday, December 9, 2023, St. Benedict's Episcopal Church, 7801 NW 5th Street, Plantation, FL. A celebration will continue following the service.
Geraldine a/k/a Jerry, Geri, Granna, Grammy or GG, she wanted to have the same initials as her husband and her boys...JF! Jerry was one of the first teachers with Peter's Elementary School. She also taught for Mirror Lake Elementary and Seminole Middle School. Jerry loved her family, church, education and had many long-time friends. One of her passions was inspiring children to learn and to have fun!
Jerry would love for everyone to have dessert first, be kind, laugh and love a lot!
She was raised and schooled in Beckley, WV. While in college at Marshall University in Huntington, she met her husband, Jack David Farley.
Jerry, her husband Jack and their two sons, Jeff and Jon, had so many wonderful experiences including traveling across the country. Jack and Jerry were also able to take a sabbatical and travel the world on the USS University.
In her memory, Jerry would want us to carry on the "Farley Spirit".
