It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gladys Silvia Carrion-Serrano, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, god mother and longtime educator. She passed away peacefully on November 23, 2024, at the age of 87.

Born on December 12, 1936, Gladys dedicated many years of her life to working in the public school system, where her passion for teaching and nurturing young minds made a lasting impact on the countless students and colleagues she encountered. Her dedication and commitment to education were unwavering, and she will be remembered for the influence she had on the lives of so many.

Gladys is survived by her two daughters and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ramone Serrano

Gladys Silvia Carrion-Serrano will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her and her memory will live on in the lives of those she touched.
