HOSSEIN REZA “Nick” HESHMATI, 67, of Plantation, Florida passed away on February 1, 2018 in Margate, Florida as a result of Alzheimer’s-related complications. Mr. Heshmati was a man who made his dreams reality, immigrating to the United States with his own financial savings at the age of 28 and completing a civil engineering degree. Family, friends, and co-workers knew him to be loyal, hard-working and sincere with a friendly and fun-loving nature. His interests included beach outings, gardening, and playing card games. Hossein was born on August 5, 1950 in Tehran, Iran. Following high school graduation, he served for two years in his country’s military as a literacy instructor for children and adults in a rural region of his country. After completing his military service, Mr. Heshmati worked for the Iranian Prime Minister’s office before beginning his new life in the USA. On March 15, 1991, Hossein married Emily Christine and began the next chapter of his life with his new family. Survivors include Sara Christine Heshmati, daughter, Jard Ryan Davis, stepson, and seven sisters: Mahnoz, Mehri, Puran, Shahla, Shahnoz, Sudabe, & Turan. Also surviving is his dear friend Reza Nemati, who has been like a brother for nearly sixty years. The celebration of Hossein Heshmati’s life will commence at 12:30 pm on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at T.M. Ralph, 7001 NW 4th Street, Plantation, FL 33317.
