Ida G. Moriconi-Heinlein, 84, passed away September 12, 2019. She was born in Chicago, to Joseph and Bianca Gherardi. Ida attended Taft High School and furthered her education at Northwestern University. She married John R. Moriconi and she is survived by her two children John Roger Moriconi II and Linda M. Conlan. As a young couple, Ida and John moved to south Florida and opened a small construction company, John Rogers, Inc. John R. Moriconi passed away in 2000 and Ida continued the operation of the construction company with her son John. She later remarried Herman Heinlein and added to her family six sons and their families. She met Herman at Life After 50 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Ida leaves behind her husband Herman Heinlein; her son John, his wife Deborah, granddaughter Emily and her grand fur baby Misty; and her daughter Linda and son-in-law Kurt Conlan. Ida was devoted to her family and extended family, and enjoyed traveling, the arts, painting, and being creative. She also took an active role in the construction company until her passing. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the National Kidney Foundation in her granddaughter’s name, Emily Moriconi. We love you Mom and we will miss you! The family will receive friends Sunday 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the funeral home. A prayer service will be held at 4:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, 9:30 AM at Saint Gregory The Great Catholic Church. Entombment will take place at Thursday, September 19, 2019 at All Saints Cemetery and Mausoleum in Des Plaines, Illinois. Arrangements by T. M.
