Jacqueline Crawford, 75, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. She was born on April 24, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois. Known to all as Jackie, she was a loving wife, caring and dedicated mother and grandmother who has left behind a devoted husband, Gary Crawford; her three children Brad, Craig and Jack Stilwell; her granddaughters Lauren, Ava and River; her grandson Arwyn; her brother Terry Spratt and her three “furry children” Sugar, Cody and Lexi. Jackie had an enormous capacity to love and held her family and many friends dear to her. She was an amazing and talented artist having graced so many people’s homes with her work. Some of her favorite subjects included gingerbread people, Raggedy Ann & Andy, Holly Hobie and so many other whimsical characters of her own creation. She moved from Chicago to the west coast of Florida in the late 1970’s where she later met the love of her life, Gary Crawford, to whom she was married for 20 years. For over 25 years she worked at Widell Industries, a tool manufacturer in Port Richey, Florida where she was the Executive Assistant to the owner and President, Wayne Widell. Upon retirement from Widell Industries, she and Gary moved to South Florida where she enjoyed being close to family. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM, Sunday, May 27th at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home located at 7001 NW 4th ST, Plantation, Florida. Following the service a gathering with food and drink will be held at her son’s home located at 120 SW 101st Terrace in Plantation. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Humane Society of Broward in memory of Jackie and her love of dogs.
