He was very competitive and actually won trophy's! Even as he got older he was able to keep up with the younger folks! He also enjoyed playing cards, especially during family time at his home. Even if he did kick us out when he had enough!! He enjoyed watching tennis and football and old movies, including westerns. Being very handy he was always willing and able to lend a helping hand. Even in his later years he was wanting to go on the roof until Cheryl finally had to explain why it wasn't a good idea!!. He enjoyed traveling -as long as there were casinos, as this was one of his favorite pass times. He loved the slots! Even near the end he was still hoping to go. This would help him get through his physical therapy!! Some of his hobby's were jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles and model airplanes. Jim was also a great cook and loved making his Italian sauces and salads. He had a sweet tooth and his favorites were licorice, jelly beans, and ice cream.
