James William Willard

James William Willard (Gambler), beloved husband to Rebecca Lorraine, loving father to Trisha and Bradley, and grandfather to TJ, Lucas, Mason, and Jordan. James served in the United States Army as a Member of the 82nd Airborne infantry division specializing in parachute assault operations in the Vietnam War. James received a Purple Heart for his heroic action. James also received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Parachute Badge. James was a member and held various offices in the American Legion Post 321. The family will receive friends 1-3pm and 6-8pm on Wednesday at the T.M. Ralph Funeral Home, 371 NW 136 Avenue Sunrise, FL 33325. A funeral service will be held Wednesday evening. Burial with Military Honors will be held on 9:30 AM on Monday, February 14, 2022 at South Florida VA National Cemetery. The Patriot Guard will accompany him to his final place of rest, departing at 8:15 am from the funeral home. Please arrive by 8:00AM. Arrangements by T.M. Ralph Funeral Home.
