Lauderhill, Florida - Joanne Madeline Claveau, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother (Nonnie) peacefully passed away on March 13th, 2024, at the age of 71. She was born on February 18th 1953, in Providence, Rhode Island, to two loving parents, Marcel and Joanne Cournoyer whose memories she cherished throughout her life. Joanne enjoyed a beautiful childhood with two loving sisters Lorraine Cournoyer and Barbara Split.
Joanne was the devoted wife of Frank W. Claveau, with whom she shared a bond of love and companionship that lasted a lifetime. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and love, setting an inspiring example for their daughters and grandsons.
Throughout her life, Joanne was a dedicated mother to her two daughters, Nicole Calero and Michelle Esposito. She nurtured them with unconditional love, wisdom, and guidance.
Joanne found immense joy and fulfillment in her role as a Nonnie to Vinnie, Luke, Ronnie, and Joey. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them, creating precious memories that will be forever treasured. She loved family get togethers and making her home made Italian sauce.
After more than 20 years of dedicated service, Joanne retired from Publix Supermarket, where she served as a talented florist. Her passion for floral arrangements brought beauty and joy to countless customers, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of experiencing her creative talents.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Joanne was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith. She touched the lives of many with her gentle spirit and compassionate heart, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Joanne will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Although she may no longer be with us in person, her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved and touched during her time on earth.
A celebration of Joanne's life will be held at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home, Plantation on March 17, 2024, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and share stories of her remarkable life from 2:00PM-6:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, March 18, 2024 at 11 am at Saint Gregory’s Catholic Church.
May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace, and may her memory continue to bring comfort and solace to those who mourn her loss.
