John “Jack” J. Brown Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025, at the age of 70. He was born on August 25, 1954, in Miami, FL, to John J. Sr. and Catherine S. Brown.
Jack was preceded in death by his daughter, Katie Ann, who passed away on February 7, 2007, after 100 days earthside.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne, his daughter Elizabeth (Ben), his sons Robert (Melanie) and Kevin, and six grandchildren: Sarah, Rachael, Jeremiah, Hannah, Elizabeth "Libby," and Andrew. Jack is also survived by his younger brother, Chris (Diane), and three nieces.
Jack had an unwavering love for life on the water, where he found peace and joy on his boat. He could often be found enjoying the breeze, listening to his favorite music, or reminiscing about his admiration for classic cars.
Jack’s legacy will live on through his family and the countless memories he created with those around him. He will be remembered for his love of life’s simple pleasures.
A proud alumnus of Florida State University, Jack had a profound passion for music that enriched his life and those around him. His professional journey included successful careers as a real estate broker and in wholesale air conditioning sales, where he made many lasting connections.
Jack's legacy will be celebrated during a viewing on January 25, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at T. M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home, located at 7001 NW 4th St, Plantation, FL 33317.
He will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him for his warm spirit and unwavering dedication to his loved ones.
Jack is now in heaven, reunited with his parents and daughter. Pop Pop Brown, you will be dearly missed.
