John DiLallo August 12, 1947 – May 27, 2020 John is survived by his beloved wife JoAnn, his devoted children, Nicole & Joseph Butler, Cara Ann & Clint Webster and John Thomas DiLallo & Megan Gatzke, his cherished grandchildren, Joey, Connor, John, Cailyn, Cole, Carlee and Carson Cash. Born and raised in New York City along with his brother Carl and his three sisters, he is pre-deceased by his father & mother, Carl & Olga DiLallo, and his dear sister Georgina. At the young age of 20, John served in the Army 1967-1969, and was a proud Vietnam Veteran, who loved his country and the men and women he fought alongside. Marrying his high school sweetheart, JoAnn Coniglio, on May 17, 1970, they resided in Whitestone, New York, for ten years. In 1980, John & JoAnn moved their family to Florida, where he had a successful business as a roofing contractor for 40 years. Family and life-long friends were everything to John. His extended family and friends up north remained close to him, especially his brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, James & Patricia Brienza, Gary & Carol Savino, Frank & Annette Kolinger and Anthony & Kim Coniglio. John adored all his nieces, nephews and their husbands, wives and children. They will always know the love and devotion he had for them because of his great presence in their lives. Although we are devastated at the loss of this bigger than life brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and great-uncle, we know he will always be with us and watch over us until we meet again. Knowing John’s deep affection and connection to all critters, birds and animals, especially the deer he so enjoyed when at our home in South Carolina, the family asks that donations be sent in his name to: South Florida Wildlife Center 3200 SW 4th Avenue Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33315 (954) 524-4302 www.southfloridawildlifecenter.org
