John T. Howe

John T. Howe passed away unexpectedly on August 7, 2018.  He was the beloved husband of Patricia, loving father of Jennifer (Jason) Cameron, and Dawn (Daniel) Wilson, cherished grandfather of Nicolette, Jessica, and Jaden, and dear brother of Edward, Michael, Gordon, Mary, and Laura. John was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Edward Howe and Laura Aulbach. He attended Saint Joseph’s Seminary College and Aquinas College where he studied choral music education, theology, and liturgical music. He worked in piano and organ sales, as an elementary music educator, as music director at various churches throughout his career, and as the chief financial officer at the Florida House Experience. Most recently, John worked as an organist and choir director at Saint Benedicts Episcopal Church. John was a kind, humble man who spent his life dedicated to his family. During the holiday season, John took great pride in his Christmas display that he spent numerous hours on for the neighborhood and local community to enjoy. His family will always remember him as a loving man who treated everyone with kindness. Friends will be received on Sunday from 3:00-5:00 PM. Mass will be celebrated at St. Benedict Episcopal Church Monday at 11:00 AM. Following Cremation, he will be interred in the Memorial Garden at the church. Arrangements by T. M.
