John Randolph Peet, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend to many, passed away peacefully in the early morning of September 15, 2021. John was born in Montclair N. J. February 7, 1930. He was a retired Civil Engineer for Esso/Exxon Corporation. He enjoyed classical music, stamp collecting, sailing, traveling and most importantly spending time with family and friends. He was a veteran of the Korean War, member of Seabees battalion, retiring from naval reserves as full commander. John was an alumnus of Swarthmore and Rutgers and was a member of the Rotary club of Fort Lauderdale. Survived by his wife Valory Karas; his daughters Nancy Peet Denaro and Donna Peet Potolsky (Paul Salmon); and his grandchildren Adrienne Denaro Mukhar (Nasri Mukhar); Gregory Denaro; Maxwell Potolsky, Nicholas Potolsky, and Madeline Denaro. John will be greatly missed by all those who loved him and those lives he touched. He will live in our hearts and our memories forever.
