John Posato

John Posato 80 of Tamarac, FL  passed away August 1, 2021.   He was a loved brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.  He was born in Rochester, NY,    and proudly served with the US Army.  He relocated to South Florida and then faithfully served with the City of Sunrise as a Police Officer. He retired as a Sergeant after 29 years faithful service. He was preceded in death by his brother Frank in January of this year.  He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Michael (James) Posato, Frank (Sandra) Posato Jr, Michele Smith, Shari Sprague and their children. He was loved and know as Uncle Jack to his nieces and nephews.  He will be remembered by the Lapi, Marchese, O’Berry, & Crudele families.  Visitation will be Sunday August 8, 2021, from  2:00-5:00 PM at the T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home 7001 NW 4 Street Plantation, FL 33317. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday August 9, 2021, at  11:00AM, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 4595 Bayview Drive Fort Lauderdale, FL.   Entombment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery N.
