John Rogus

In loving memory of John Rogus. With a heavy heart, we bid farewell to a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. John's journey on this earth began June 9th, 1960, in Kingston, Pennsylvania, amidst the love of his parents John Rogus and Kathleen Sheridan Rogus.

John went to Misericordia University, where he graduated with an Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology. This led him to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he had a fulfilling career spanning over 25 years as a Radiologic Technologist. Beyond his professional accomplishments, John was a man of unwavering kindness and positivity. His charming demeanor, coupled with a great sense of humor, made him a joy to be around. John found enjoyment in cheering for his beloved Philadelphia Eagles, indulging in Western TV shows, & rooting for Penn State.

John's proudest accomplishment is the family he leaves behind paired with a legacy of love and devotion to his wife, Barbara Noonan Rogus, daughters Haley and Shea Rogus, and extended family. Despite facing the challenges of Multiple Sclerosis for over 20 years, John remained a beacon of positivity. His unwavering spirit and resilience serve as an inspiration to us all. His legacy of kindness, humor, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

As we mourn the loss of John Rogus on August 4, 2024, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, we find solace in the beautiful memories of a life well-lived. Please join us on Saturday August 17, 2024, 11:30am at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home (7001 NW 4th Street Plantation, FL) for a service followed by a celebration of life at the Plantation Preserve (7050 W Broward Blvd, Plantation, FL).
