John Romero

John Romero passed away on February 18, 2024, in Coral Springs, FL. He was born on June 17, 1952, in Manhattan, NY. John is preceded in death by his wife Arlene Romero and his sister-in-law Susan Rodriguez. He is survived by his daughters Christine Romero and Nicole (Steven) Romero, as well as his brother Joseph Rodriguez and brothers-in-law Joseph (Sheryl) Cerenzia, Kenneth (Jeanette) Cerenzia, and Kevin (Aimee Jo) Cerenzia; his grand pup Natasha, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

John was known for his unwavering support of the NY Jets and NY Yankees. His passion for sports was only rivaled by his love for bowling. John's friends and family will always remember him for his competitive spirit on the lanes and his enthusiasm for his favorite teams.

The services to honor John's life will take place at the T. M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home in Plantation, FL, with visitation starting at 3:00 PM on February 25, 2024. A Mass will be held at Saint Malachy Catholic Church in Tamarac on February 26, 2024, at 11:30 AM followed by interment at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery in North Lauderdale.

John Romero will be fondly remembered for his dedication to his family, his vibrant personality, and his love for sports.
