John Sanchez

John Sanchez of Margate, FL, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the age of 77.

He was born April 7, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY to Hilda and Gabriel Sanchez.  John was one of six boys and two girls.

Once he graduated from Boys High, he enlisted in the United States Army and assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division (Infantry).

John completed his tour in Vietnam earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. For his heroism and outstanding achievement, John was awarded the distinguishment of a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart along with several other service commendations. 

Returning home from completion of his tour with civilian status, he was employed by ICEC (International Commodities Import/Export) and became Vice-President of Telecommunications until relocating to South Florida. 

John was also a member of the American Legion in White Plains, NY. 

He always demonstrated a great deal of love and compassion for others. John was always willing to help others in their time of need.

He loved his family immensely and everyone will miss his presence deeply.
