He was born to parents Karen (Nodolf) and Rick Slack on December 18th, 1965 in Clinton, Iowa. Jon graduated from Iowa-Grant High School and went on to do two years of schooling at Southwest Tech in Fennimore. He moved to Florida soon thereafter and started his career. He started his career in construction. He moved onto real estate and dabbled into the bar industry as well. Eventually, in 2010, he would open his first bar called "Slackers Bar and Grill". One year later he opened "Lucky’s Tavern". He was a successful businessman, entrepreneur, and worked hard for everything he had. Jon is survived by his daughter, Sierra Slack, and son, Kyle Collins, and grandchild Launa Collins; His mother, Karen (Nodolf) Slack; His siblings, Bill Slack, Nikki Slack, and Todd Slack; His nieces and nephews Tamarae Towns, Breanna Radke, Jordan Slack, and Malloy Slack. Ex-wife Celeste Slack, who is the mother of his child. He is also survived by tons of cousins, aunts, uncles, and family members who he never failed to make feel special. Jon was preceded in death by his father, Rick Slack. Grandfather and Grandmother; “Shorty” and Ruth Nodolf. Grandmother Anita and Grandfather Ray Slack. The family would like to give special thanks to the wonderful doctors and nurses at Memorial Hospital East in Hollywood, Florida. Friends and Family will be received Saturday, February 19th, 1:00PM-3:00PM at T. M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home, and a Memorial Service at 3:00PM.
