Jose Manuel Sanchez Trigoso, 88, of Aberdeen NJ, peacefully departed on February 20th, 2025 at his son's home in Weston, Florida, surrounded by his loving wife Laura Melida, son Jose Manuel and daughter Melida. His career took him from the pharmaceutical and textile industries in Lima Peru to manufacturing in New York City.
Born in Guadalupe, La Libertad, Peru, to his two loving parents Federico and Elena. Jose Manuel is the devoted husband and beautiful companion of 60 years to his wife Laura Melida, a blessing and inspiration to all. Together they created a beautiful family including his son Jose Manuel and daughter Melita. He is also the loving father-in-law to Joseph Manieri. Jose Manuel is predeceased by his siblings Ana, Lilia, Angel (Perico), Consuelo, Flor and Alicia. He is the beloved brother of Maria (Cucha) and Marco. He is survived by his precious grandchildren Brianna, Sophia and Christopher.
A truly good, kind, honest and hardworking man dedicated to his wife, children and grandchildren who leaves a rich legacy of love and gratitude. Papi spent enjoyable moments and provided unwavering support to his cherished grandchildren. Always caring about his entire family before himself by offering important advice and taking care of details to ensure the safety and well-being of his loved ones. His contagious smile radiated joy and positivity on a monumental scale and was a captivating feature that warmed the hearts of everyone he met. Jose Manuel lived a wonderful life full of love and laughter who enjoyed singing and dancing to “musica criolla”. He also enjoyed gardening, cooking, watching horse races and spending moments with family and friends in the US and Peru. He left a such a powerful impact during his lifetime that his parting was deeply felt by all. In short, he was a simple man with an enormous heart, sweet natured and a serene demeanor.
Jose Manuel will be reposing at TM Ralph Funeral Home 371 NW 136th Ave, Sunrise FL 33325 on February 28th, 2025 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm with a prayer service held at 6:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church 1301 SW 136th Ave, Davie Fl 33325 on March 1st, 2025 at 9:30am, followed by entombment at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery 1411 NW 25th St, Doral FL 33172 at 11:30am.
Jose Manuel will truly be missed by all his family and friends in the US, Peru and around the world. His passing leaves a significant void in our hearts.

Su carrera lo llevó de las industrias farmacéutica y textil en Lima, Perú, a la industria manufacturera en la ciudad de Nueva York.
Nació en Guadalupe, La Libertad, Perú, de sus dos amorosos padres Federico y Elena. José Manuel es el devoto esposo y hermoso compañero de 60 años de su esposa Laura Melida, una bendición e inspiración para todos. Juntos crearon una hermosa familia que incluye a su hijo José Manuel y su hija Melita. También es el amoroso suegro de Joseph Manieri. Un hombre verdaderamente bueno, amable, honesto y trabajador, dedicado a su esposa, hijos y nietos, que deja un rico legado de amor y gratitud. Papi pasó momentos agradables y brindó un apoyo inquebrantable a sus queridos nietos. Siempre se preocupó por toda su familia antes que por sí mismo, ofreciendo consejos importantes y cuidando los detalles para garantizar la seguridad y el bienestar de sus seres queridos. Su sonrisa contagiosa irradiaba alegría y positividad a una escala monumental y era una característica cautivadora que calentaba los corazones de todos los que lo conocian. José Manuel vivió una vida maravillosa llena de amor y risas, disfrutaba cantando y bailando "música criolla". También disfrutaba de la jardinería, la cocina, ver carreras de caballos y pasar momentos con familiares y amigos en los EE. UU. y Perú. José Manuel descansará en la funeraria TM Ralph Funeral Home, 371 NW 136th Ave, Sunrise FL 33325, el 28 de febrero de 2025 de 5:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m., y habrá un servicio de oración a las 6:00 p. m. La misa fúnebre se llevará a cabo en la Iglesia Católica St. Bonaventure, 1301 SW 136th Ave, Davie, FL 33325, el 1 de marzo de 2025 a las 9:30 a. m., seguida del entierro en el cementerio Católico Our Lady of Mercy, 1411 NW 25th St, Doral, FL 33172, a las 11:30 a. m.
