Joseph Timothy Gray

Joseph Timothy Gray April 19, 1949 to July 7, 2019   Joseph T. Gray, 70, of Sunrise, Florida passed away on July 7, 2019. He was born in Chicago, Il and made his way to New York , NY in the 1970’s. He was actively involved within the Black Panthers to help bring awareness to his community and to supply inner-city children with breakfast at the community schools. He graduated from Marist College with a degree in Psychology and journalism. Joe was a kindhearted, fiercely loyal, and cared deeply about his children. He was a life-long learner who loved to read and travel and the beach.                 He is survived by his wife Donna Gray, Sons Joseph T Gray, William A Gray, and Malcolm A Campbell; sisters Gail Gray, Vita Gray, Gloria Gray, Lois Gray, and loving grandchildren; Abigail Lillian, Emma Jade, and Chase Jackson Gray; and many loving nieces and nephews.                 Joseph is preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Gloria Gray, Father Arthur Joseph Gray; brothers Paul and Ricky Gray.  A Funeral Mass was be celebrated at All Saints Catholic Church in Sunrise, Florida on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 2 PM.
