Josephine Adragna

Josephine Adragna (Mom, Grandma, Aunt Josie) was born in Castellammare del Golfo in Sicily, Italy in 1933. She was ninety years old when she passed and in those ninety years, she has lived more fully and loved more strongly than most can dream. Josephine was married to Giacomo Adragna, her one true love. They had three children together, Nicolo “Nick” Adragna, Vito Adragna, and Jacqueline Maiello. Her kids were her world and they gave her the greatest gift of them all – a growing family. In March, 2009 and in July, 2021 her son Nick and husband Giacomo were taken from this earth and entered in our heavenly Father’s arms. She is survived by Vito and Laura Adragna and their two kids, Giacomo and Josephine Adragna and Jacqueline Maiello and her two kids Joseph and Anthony Maiello. Joseph is married to Jillian Maiello and had their first son and Josephine’s first great-grandson, Joseph Michael Maiello a few months before her passing. Josephine was able to hear his sounds and laughs and it brought her great joy.

Josephine’s body may have left this earth, but her memory, her pep, and her wisdom have been engraved so deeply in her family that those roots will never leave. Her family has peace and solace knowing that she is united with Giacomo and Nick and know that she will forever be watching over them and guiding them as they continue their journey on Earth.

Visitation will be held Friday, 4:00PM-7:00PM and Saturday, 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at T. M. Ralph Funeral Home Sawgrass/Weston. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, 11:00AM, All Saints Catholic Church.
