Joshua Steven Krissel (Josh) passed away peacefully with his family by his side on February 11, 2023. He fought a courageous and fierce battle against Cystic Fibrosis. He was a bilateral double lung transplant survivor. Josh was an avid UM sports fan and loved all sports endlessly, especially America’s favorite pastime, BASEBALL. He is survived by the love of his life, his fiancé, Emilie Fanucci, with whom he shared the last 6 ½ years of his life. He is also survived by his devoted parents, Brenda and Ed Krissel, his loving brother, Joseph, sister-in-law, Kristen, nephew, Aden and niece, Kaylee. His Aunt Becky and Uncle Richard Smith, Uncle Chuck Stevens and Kelly Bursch, Aunt Doris and Uncle Roland Reich, also survive him, along with a host of cousins, friends he considered family, and his dog, Rocky. He is preceded in death by his sister, Kimberly, and his grandparents, Charles and Kathryn Stevens and Adolf and Marianne Krissel. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 12:00 - 12:30 PM at the T.M. Ralph Funeral Home Sawgrass/Weston 371 NW 136 Avenue Sunrise, FL. A service will be held at 12:30 PM. Following the service, you are invited to join the family at Cooper City Pool and Tennis Center for a Celebration of Life for Josh.
