Juan Jose Camps, a beloved father, husband, and brother, passed away on December 29, 2024, in the tranquility of Plantation, Florida, in the embrace of an illustrious life marked by devotion and laughter. Born on February 4, 1962, in the vibrant city of Havana, Cuba, Juan carried with him the rich tapestry of his heritage, sharing his culture through warmth and kindness that touched everyone around him.

A self-employed electrical contractor, Juan’s expertise was matched only by his unwavering dedication to his craft. His professional journey not only exemplified his industrious spirit, but also his remarkable ability to innovate and excel in a demanding field. As he navigated the complexities of his work, he garnered respect and admiration from clients and peers alike, forging connections that transcended mere transactions.

Yet, it was in the solace of his family that Juan truly thrived. He derived immense joy from spending time with his loved ones, imparting wisdom and humor that filled their lives with light. He cherished the role of father, taking particular pride in coaching his youngest son, Gabriel. Visitation will be held on January 8, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at T. M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home, located at 7001 NW 4th St., Plantation, FL 33317. A Mass honoring his life will take place the following day, January 9, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Saint Gregory The Great Catholic Church, located at 200 N University Dr., Plantation, FL 33324.
