Juan Jose Camps, a beloved father, husband, and brother, passed away on December 29, 2024, in the tranquility of Plantation, Florida, in the embrace of an illustrious life marked by devotion and laughter. Born on February 4, 1962, in the vibrant city of Havana, Cuba, Juan carried with him the rich tapestry of his heritage, sharing his culture through warmth and kindness that touched everyone around him.

A self-employed electrical contractor, Juan’s expertise was matched only by his unwavering dedication to his craft. His professional journey not only exemplified his industrious spirit, but also his remarkable ability to innovate and excel in a demanding field. As he navigated the complexities of his work, he garnered respect and admiration from clients and peers alike, forging connections that transcended mere transactions.

Yet, it was in the solace of his family that Juan truly thrived. He derived immense joy from spending time with his loved ones, imparting wisdom and humor that filled their lives with light. He cherished the role of father, taking particular pride in coaching his youngest son, Gabriel. Those moments on the baseball field were not merely about the game; they were opportunities to bond, teach, and create lasting memories that would echo in the hearts of his family forever.

Juan’s personality was a tapestry woven with threads of great wit, kindness, and profound wisdom. He had a rare gift of lifting spirits, often brightening the day of those fortunate enough to cross his path. His gentle demeanor and contagious laugh would linger long after he left a room, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra Camps; his cherished sons, Daniel and Gabriel Camps; and his loving brother, Hector Lorenzo Camps. Juan's departure leaves a profound void, yet his spirit will eternally resonate within the hearts of those he touched, a testament to the life he lived and the love he shared.

Juan now joins his beloved parents, Jaidy Camps and Hector S. Camps, who welcome him into their eternal fold. As we gather to celebrate his life, let us remember the joy he brought to each of us, holding dear the legacy of love, laughter, and connection that he leaves behind.
