Judith Michaele Connolly, affectionately known as Judy, was born on February 3, 1942, in Middletown, NY. She passed peacefully at home in Fort Lauderdale, FL, surrounded by her loved ones on October 28, 2024. Judy lived a life characterized by love, dedication, and a remarkable commitment to her family.
Judy was a devoted housewife and mother to three children, often referring to herself as a "Domestic Engineer." Her culinary skills were exceptional, and she was particularly known for her talent in canning pickles. Family vacations to the Florida Keys and memorable trips to the beach brought joy and cherished memories to her family. Judy graduated from Warwick Valley High School and further pursued her passion for beauty at cosmetology school.
Her personality was a blend of quiet strength and unwavering determination, embodying the essence of a modern-day June Cleaver. Judy's hobbies included polka dancing, cooking, and exploring garage sales, activities that enriched her life and brought happiness to those around her.
Judy's proudest accomplishments were her three beloved children, her 59 years of marriage to Robert Connolly, and her three grandsons. She leaves behind a loving family, including her daughter Helen Tribble, son-in-law Bill, son Robert Connolly, daughter-in-law Dawn, daughter Karen King, and son-in-law Danny. She also cherished her grandchildren: William Tribble, who is soon to be joined by fiancée Maria, and grandsons Robert Connolly and Ryan Connolly. She is survived by her brother, Robert Sodrick.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Connolly; her parents, Michael and Frances Sodrick. Her legacy of love and family will remain in the hearts of all who knew her, ensuring that her spirit continues to inspire and guide her family for generations to come.
