Karen Ann Fischer Pagano went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Her faith in God is what guided her throughout her life. She has been reunited in Heaven with her parents Joan and Friedrich Fischer. Karen was born in New Jersey on January 3rd, 1962. She grew up and resided in the family home hand-built by her father in Plantation Acres, Florida.
Karen is survived by her three children Danielle (husband Brian Cruz), Anthony, and Gabrielle; her three grandchildren Nicholas, Anthony, and Alessandra. Other loving survivors include ex-husband Sam (Larry) Pagano, mother and father-in-law, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Karen’s family meant more to her than anything else in the world. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren and was unendingly proud of each of them. She had the biggest heart and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for them or anyone. Karen’s one wish was “To see all my kids’ dreams come true. I love them soooo much and they mean the world to me!!!”.
Karen attended Gold Coast Christian School and earned degrees in Chemistry, Matemática, and Biology at the University of Miami. Karen was a wonderful teacher, mentor, coach, friend, and tutor to many students. If Karen was able to earn degrees for every student she educated and guided, she would be a doctor in every specialty, a lawyer, a nurse, a pilot, an engineer, a police officer, and more. She had a brilliant mind, was funny, caring, one of a kind, and held Cinderella’s fairytale close to her heart.
Karen enjoyed hosting the most amazing parties and decorated her home impressively for every holiday to which everyone was always welcome. Karen never missed an event and was present for everyone’s important life moments. She was an amazing friend and close confidante to many. She inspired others to be whatever they wanted to be or do whatever they wanted to do. She believed in and supported others’ dreams and made a tremendously positive impact on every life she touched. She encouraged everyone to “Set your goals as high as the furthest star, and if you fall short, you will still find yourself in the heavens”. Karen’s impressive legacy reaches far and wide across multiple countries and will live on for generations to come. Everyone who knew her is experiencing a tremendous loss.
