Karyn Sue Lica Duffy

Karyn Sue Lica Duffy, 48, of Oakland Park, FL passed away with her family by her side September 15, 2017. She is predeceased by her father, Frederic W. Lica . She leaves behind her two children; Robert Allan Duffy and Kadyn Marie Duffy.  She is survived by her mother Katherine M. Lica , her brothers; Frederic W. Lica of Plantation,  Gregory A. Lica and wife Heather of Fort Lauderdale, Michael B. Lica and wife Cheryl of Plantation, Steven F. Lica and wife Keri of Coral Springs.  She is survived by her two sisters; Anne Krupczynski and husband Felix of Chicago, IL and Michele Henry of West Palm Beach. Lastly she leaves behind her many nieces and nephews; Tuesday, Kyle, Tasmine, Alexandra, Aaron, Michael, Katrina, Zoya, Kelsey, Trevin, Nastassja, Frederic, Felix, Gregory, Vanessa, Maximilian, Jet, Capri, Bailey, Blake, Brent and Zahra.  Karyn attended St. Gregory Catholic elementary school and graduated from Plantation High School in 1986.  She attended University of South Florida in Tampa, FL and received a BA in Marketing.  She was an Alpha Omega Pi sister/alumni.   Karyn worked for Home Depot for 18 years.  She also worked for Liberty Power and most recently for Virtuox,  Inc.   Karyn was a parishioner at St. Anthony Catholic Church for the past 25 years.   The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, 9:00 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church. There will be a reception in her honor following the mass at Riverside Hotel, Las Olas Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL.  In lieu of flowers, an education fund is being established for her children in her memory.  Please make donations payable to Katherine Lica FBO Duffy Education Fund 2727 Yacht Club Blvd #2F Ft.
