Katherine Elizabeth Dumo

Katherine Elizabeth Dumo (Howard, Turner), 75, of Davie, Florida passed away peacefully, surrounded by family in her home on October 7, 2021. She was born in Dover, Delaware on December 8, 1945 and moved to South Florida at the age of two. She was known as “Mom” by her birth children and so many others that knew her through the years—and beloved “Mema” by her grandchildren.

Kathy is survived by a sister, Marianne Taylor of Hollywood; a son, Thomas Howard (Shawn) of Ocala, FL; four daughters, Elizabeth Hickle (Scott) of Hollywood, Donna Juliano (Jay) of Plantation, Katherine Henry (Richard) of Hollywood, Billie Jean Howard of Davie; as well as eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Dumo, a son David Howard of Fort Lauderdale, and a grandson Erik Hickle.

A memorial service will be held at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home, located at 371 NW 136th Avenue in Sunrise on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 2 p.m.
