Kathleen M. Jesus

Kathleen Maillet Jesus, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2017.  Born on January 2, 1966 in Fort Lauderdale, Kady was the youngest daughter of George Kingston and Mary (Tully) Maillet.   Kady is survived by her  two amazing sons, Justin and Ryan and her 8 nieces and nephews, Andrew, Patrick and  Maryanne Kenna, Lily and Bridget Maillet,  Luke,  Tyler, and Mark Harris, her sisters, Sheila Maillet, Maureen Maillet Kenna, Denise Maillet  and Christine Maillet Harris  and her 2 brothers-in-law,  Gabhan Kenna and Chris Harris.    Kady spent most of her career in the service industry where hospitality  came naturally to her.  She had a knack for making everyone feel special.  Kady had a life-long love for animals and always looked out for strays.  Many cats in Kady's neighborhood had full bellies because of her.  Growing up, Kady spent many memorable summers on Cape Cod with lots of cousins and family. She is fondly remembered for being the first to laugh at herself, going out of her way to help those less fortunate, and always finding the good in any situation.    A celebration of Kady’s life will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 10am-1pm at Lauderdale West Community Center, 1141 NW 85th Ave, Room #113, Plantation, FL  33322   In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Humane Society of Broward County  in honor of Kady Maillet Jesus  at  https://humanebroward.com/donate-old/honor-memorial-donation/ or call 954-266-6835 for assistance
