Kristel Valeska Centeno Mairena

Kristel Valeska Centeno Mairena, born on July 23, 1989, in Rivas, Nicaragua, passed away on April 21, 2025, in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Kristel's life was woven with love, family, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys that life offers. She grew up in Rivas, Nicaragua and went elementary and High School in Santo Domingo School in Rivas. Then, she went to Managua to University of Commercial Sciences to earn her bachelor's degree. 

She earned a Degree in Business Administration. Kristel was not only dedicated to her professional life but also embraced her role within her family with open arms. Having her only child Mathias she felt her life fulfilled with a complete love of Mother. 

Kristel enjoyed moments spent shopping, engaging in heartfelt conversations over the phone, and savoring meals outside with her loved ones. She cherished the trips back to Nicaragua, where her heart resonated with her roots. A devoted wife and mother, she leaves behind her husband, Pablo Alejandro Martinez, and their son, Mathies Martinez Centeno. Kristel is also survived by her sister, Patricia Centeno, her grandma, Ileana Solorzano and her grandfather, Hector Mairena, who undoubtedly took pride in her and the love she shared within her family.

Kristel leaves a lasting imprint on everyone who knew her, as her warmth and kindness were palpable. Her spirit will remain alive in the memories of family gatherings and cherished conversations that brought joy and comfort to those around her.

Visitation services for Kristel will be held on April 28, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at T. M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home, located at 7001 NW 4th St, Plantation, FL 33317. A Mass in her honor will take place on April 29, 2025, starting at 2:00 PM at Saint Helen Catholic Church, situated at 3033 NW 33rd Ave, Lauderdale Lakes, FL 33311.
