With profound sadness, we share the passing of Kristine Elizabeth Lord-Hartley, a woman whose spirit was as vibrant as the Florida sun. Born on August 20, 1983, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Kristine radiated warmth and enthusiasm that could light up the darkest of days. She departed from this world on March 14, 2025, in Plantation, Florida, after bravely battling pancreatic cancer—showing the same courage during her own fight that she displayed when advocating fiercely for her young son, Micah, in his own health battles.

Kristine spent seven incredible years as a marketing and pricing analyst, as well as an executive assistant, before leaping into the world of real estate in 2015, where she dedicated her heart to helping new home buyers find their dream sanctuaries. Her knack for connecting with people was evident to everyone she met. Her real estate experience helped her find a beautiful home, where she raised her family with love, kindness, laughter and a focus on fun.

A beloved wife, devoted mother, caring daughter, and sister, Kristine's family brought her boundless joy. She leaves behind her husband, Jericho Hartley, and their two delightful sons, Kendyn and Micah, who will continue to spread her legacy of fun and dedication. She is also survived by her loving mother, Gayle Lord, and her brother, Justin Lord. Kristine's journey was touched by the loss of her father, Kenneth Lord, who undoubtedly welcomes her with open arms when they meet again.

Kristine was a lover of all things vibrant! Holidays were her personal canvas, transforming every nook and cranny into a wonderland, with Halloween and Christmas decorations that set the bar sky-high each year. The holiday spirit spilled over into her everyday life, whether she was hosting gatherings, jumping out of airplanes, riding horses, feeling the thrill of four-wheelers in Alabama, or making a splash in the pool with her boys.

Her interests were a colorful tapestry—crime stories, live concerts, comedy shows, swimming, scuba diving, skydiving, boating, painting, doing art and playing with her children. Kristine had deep love for her family and friends, keeping every birthday card and event ticket like they were treasured relics of shared happiness.

Kristine's fierce love for life was on full display during wonderful memories like her wedding and honeymoon in picturesque Islamorada in January of 2012, joined by friends and family from all over the nation for an unforgettable celebration in paradise. In 2013, she relocated to San Francisco, diving headfirst into the rich culture and adventure of the city, traveling around California, creating unforgettable experiences along the Oregon coast, hiking to Crater Lake and staying in log cabins. Spending long summers in the Pacific Northwest, enjoying the forests, lakes and mountains with her husband's family and long time friends.

Coming home, Kristine thrived while raising children and enjoying the simple pleasures of being a family together in a wonderful home. Together with Jericho, she celebrated the blossoming creative and theatrical talents of thier oldest son Kendyn, learning improv and taking to the stage with remarkable confidence. Her unwavering love and support shone through when little Micah bravely battled cancer at St. Jude in 2023, somehow creating fun, love-filled days for her sons even in the toughest of times. Their family's Make-A-Wish trip to the Give Kids the World village and the amusement parks was a shining moment of joy to celebrate Micah's return home, a reminder of the beautiful memories they created together.

Kristine's strength shone brightly even through her own battle with pancreatic cancer. A true warrior, she faced uncommon, unspeakable challenges with grace, calm and dignity, refusing to let illness overshadow the joy of her family's lives. Her fight was marked by courage and resilience, leaving an indelible mark of hope and love in the hearts of those she cherished.

Kristine filled the world with happiness and forever lasting memories, and though she leaves a void in our hearts, her legacy of love, laughter, courage, and vibrant spirit will be cherished by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on April 4, 2025, at Church By The Sea in Fort Lauderdale, Florida—a gathering where tales of her marvelous adventures will surely bring smiles through the tears.

So, here’s to Kristine Elizabeth Lord-Hartley! A beautiful soul who showed us how to live, how to love, and how to battle life’s challenges head-on while making sure we never forget to have fun. You will be missed, but your spirit will be carried on with joy in our hearts and a twinkle in our eyes, forever celebrating the light you brought to our lives.
