Laura earned her Master's degree Psychology from Nova Southeastern University a testament to her intellectual curiosity and dedication to understanding the human mind. Her warmth and compassion were evident not only in her professional endeavors but also in her everyday life. She was a person who always went above and beyond for others, exemplifying loyalty and love at every turn.
Among her proudest accomplishments were her beloved children, Shareef and Alia. Laura poured her heart into raising them, instilling values of kindness, strength, and resilience. She found immeasurable joy in being a grandmother to her grandsons, Angelo and Amir, whose laughter filled her days with happiness.
Laura had a passion for cooking that brought family and friends together, often remembered for preparing Thanksgiving dinners and indulging in holiday baking. Her culinary talents were matched only by her creativity, which flourished in her hobbies of jewelry making and collecting crystals, pursuits that brought her peace and fulfillment.
She is survived by her husband, Humberto; her mother, Marguerite; her son, Shareef; her daughter, Alia; her daughter-in-law, Mariana; her grandsons, Angelo and Amir; her sister, Paula; her brother-in-law, Mario; her nephew, Julio Paul; and her nieces, Victoria and Gabriella.
Laura joins her late father, Paul; her sister, Patricia; her grandparents Giacinta (Victoria) and Stefano Santeramo and Doris Diehl; along with many uncles, aunts, and cousins, leaving behind a legacy of love and unforgettable memories for those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Laura's remarkable spirit, generous heart, and unforgettable presence will be profoundly missed by all who loved her. Her memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to share in her life.
