Laurie Shotwell

Laurie Shotwell passed away May 17, 2020. After working for Medics ambulance, Laurie was hired by Broward EMS (now BSO Fire Rescue) in 1990 and later trained to become a Firefighter.  She retired in May of 2015 after working Weston Station 55 as her final bid position for many years. 

We all remember Laurie's smile and quiet manner.  She was a lover of windsurfing, the outdoors, and held a special place for animals, especially cats.

Memorial Service will be held Monday, August 31, 2020, 11:00 AM.
