Lisa was born in Miami, Florida to the late Leo and Susanna LaJoie. She moved to Plantation as a young girl and graduated from South Plantation High School in 1974. She worked at the Plantation Police Department before joining the Broward State Attorney's Office, and retired from there in 2015. After retirement, she started her own pet sitting business, StayCation Pet Sitting, taking care of pets in their home.
Lisa is survived by her husband of 36 years, Terry, his sons Phil (Jess) and Richie (Sarah) and one grandson, Sam. She is also survived by her brother, Rick (Cecy), his sons, James, Joshua, Jeremy and Jonathan, and Joshua's children, Alex, Christian and Rylee, and her sister Debbie (Dave) and their children, Julie and Kelly.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, June 7th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home, 7001 NW 4 Street, Plantation. There will be a church service on Friday, June 8th at 12:00 p.m. at Plantation Presbyterian Church, 901 NW 70 Avenue, Plantation.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
We will dearly miss Lisa.
