Louis Joseph Pollio

January 5, 1933 – June 14, 2023

Louis ( Louie) Pollio was born on January 5, 1933 in Hoboken, NJ and passed away peacefully, at home, on Wednesday, June 14 in Plantation, FL  at the age of 90.

Louis is survived by his wife Florence, his sons, his brothers and sisters-in-laws, Ralph, John (wife Norma), Margie, (11) nieces and nephews and is blessed with (3) grandsons and (6) great-grandchildren as well.

He is preceded in death by his mother and farther, Mary and Ralph,

The siblings Anthony (wife Lilian), Joseph, Michael and Dominic.

Louis was the second oldest of seven sons.

He was the last of his brothers to move to Florida in 1970 with his wife Florence and his two sons,

Steven and Bruce.

Louis graduated trade school in 1951, married his childhood sweetheart Florence in 1953.

In the same year he was drafted in the army and stationed (1) year in Germany during the Korean war.

Upon his return, he expanded his family with the addition of his two sons, Steve and Bruce.

He was known for his dedication to his family, his hard work, ethic, his practical jokes and sarcastic humor, as well as his love and passion for classic cars from every walk of life.

Prior to his retirement in 2008 at age 75, Louis worked for the school board of Broward County.

As a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, he will forever be in our hearts and forever remembered.
