Luis Alberto Bermudez

LUIS ALBERTO BERMUDEZ was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela in 1941 to parents Pedro and Cristina. He attended Liceo Udón Pérez and immigrated to the United States in 1971. He called Brooklyn, New York his home for many years, and in 1994 settled in Plantation, Florida. He passed away on January 2, 2021 at the age of 79. Luis was a man of many passions including electronics repair, crossword puzzles, a love of nature and the outdoors, and playing musical instruments including Cuatro, Flute and Maracas. Luis will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Olga; his sisters Ligia and Maritza; his children Joan Luis, Brian, Brandon, and Branille; and 6 grandchildren. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Luis was predeceased by his parents, Pedro and Cristina; and sisters Mercedes and Laura. The Viewing will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home, Plantation, Florida; and the Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at St. Gregory Catholic Church, Plantation, Florida. Fueron sus padres Pedro Bermudez y Cristina Morán. Asistió al Liceo Udón Pérez y emigró a los Estados Unidos en 1971. Se radicó en Brooklyn, New York por muchos años y luego en 1994, hizo su hogar en Plantation, Florida. Falleció el 2 de Enero de 2021 a los 79 años de edad. Luis fue un hombre de muchas habilidades y pasiones que incluían la reparación de aparatos electrodomésticos, hacer crucigramas, estar al aire libre y tocar instrumentos musicales tales como el cuatro, flauta y maracas. Luis será recordado amorosamente por su esposa, Olga; sus hermanas Ligia y Maritza; sus hijos Joan Luis, Brian, Brandon y Branille; sus seis nietos, sus numerosos sobrinos, familiares y amigos. Luis se encontrará con sus ya fallecidos queridos padres Pedro y Cristina, y con sus hermanas Mercedes y Laura. El Velorio se realizará el Viernes, 8 de Enero de 2021 en la Funeraria T.M. Ralph en Plantation, Florida; y la Misa se realizará el Sábado, 9 de Enero de 2021 en la Iglesia Católica San Gregory en Plantation, Florida.
