It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a remarkable woman, Maggy Cantave Belin, beloved wife of 53 years of Georges Belin, on May 29, 2024. Maggy was born on May 29, 1942, and was the loving mother of three children.

In addition to her husband, Maggy is survived by her sons Victor Belin and his wife Vickiana Madera, Francois Roger Belin and his wife Nathalie Romain Belin, and her daughter Gabriella Stephanie Belin and her husband Jesse Tessar; her beloved grandchildren Nicolas, Cyril, Andira, Aryana, Mason, Madison, Noah, Wenelyis and Wisangel.

Maggy was the eldest of twelve siblings, Claude, Emmlyn, Winie, Jacqueline, Daniel, Dunois Eric, Yola, Herve, Hubert, Jean Philippe, and Dominique. She cherished her family above all else. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.

Maggy had a successful career in Human Resources. During her tenure, she improved the work conditions in the public sector. She also contributed in the writting of the laws on public administration. She was known for her kind and compassionate nature. She touched the lives of many with her warmth and generosity.

We extend our deepest sympathies to her nephews, cousins, and close friends and collaborators.
